 The Tea Party Express rolled into Nashville Tennessee on Easter Sunday; April 04, 2010. The crowd was of course large and friendly! There was lot's of meeting new Friends and saying hello to old ones. We found local politicians Mae Beavers and Susan Lynn speaking with the crowd as well as candidates. Dave Evans, running for the 6th District, where Bart Gordon would have been voted out if he wasn't 'retiring'; was there. The Buses showed up and we were given a show featuring Lloyd Marcus, The Rivolis, Politik, a 'hispanic' rapper, Victoria Jackson who warns us about communists in the White house, Kevin Jackson, author of the Blogosphere and "The Big Black Lie". Of course Mark Williams, Amy Kremer, Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee, William and Selena Owens and Dad! and Patriot Darla Dawald all gave us inspirational speeches! The evening was just about perfect, a warm night, a warm and loving crowd and a very upbeat and singing extravaganza! If the Tea Party Express ever comes your way, GO!

Well the Healthscare Bill passed and it has not even been 1 month and the repercussions are all ready happening.
Within days of passage, several large companies reported that they have to record charges as a direct result of the Healthscare bill. The Bill has been referred to Committee. Is this the plan that they will implement when Obama care fails?? Is this a back up plan? Why did LAMAR Co-Sponsor a Bill that REQUIRES you to purchase insurance? That states specifically : Sets forth penalties for failure to enroll? WE need to Flood his office with Calls - Letters - and Faxes.

These pictures are from my backdoor. This is our 5th Snow storm of the season. Very unusual for the South. Does anything about this picture conjure up warmth? It doesn't for me either. I have never fallen for the fact that man or anything other than the natual cycle of weather can cause global warming or cooling.

The U. S. Jobless rate came out yesterday (February 5, 2010) and the rate for January had fallen from 10.0 to 9.7 percent. BO was all over the news, talking about how wonderful it all is and how much better the economy was getting. He is either misinformed, or lying or just giving a single side of the story. The Constitution calls for this count every 10 years in order to determine not only our population but to redistrict boundaries for the 438 electoral votes. This is supposed to give equal representation for the people. Dear Tennessee Representatives,
I am writing you today to let you know that I DO NOT support the proposed tax on the Banks. It is amazing to me the schemes this administration cooks up. The charges for this tax will be passed on to the people of America who are already overtaxed. I am a Conservative mostly Republican and I am a Believer in God, the Constitution and a limited Government that does not impose loony left-wing socialistic policies on the People.
