The Tea Party Express Arrives in Nashville Tennessee Easter Sunday April 04, 2010

The Tea Party Express rolled into Nashville Tennessee on Easter Sunday; April 04, 2010.  The crowd was of course large   and friendly!  There was lot's of meeting new Friends and saying hello to old ones.  We found local politicians Mae Beavers and Susan Lynn speaking with the crowd as well as candidates.  Dave Evans, running for the 6th District, where Bart Gordon would have been voted out if he wasn't 'retiring'; was there.

The Buses showed up and we were given a show featuring Lloyd Marcus, The Rivolis, Politik, a 'hispanic' rapper, Victoria Jackson who warns us about communists in the White house, Kevin Jackson, author of the Blogosphere and "The Big Black Lie".  Of course Mark Williams, Amy Kremer, Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee, William and Selena Owens and Dad! and Patriot Darla Dawald all gave us inspirational speeches!

The evening was just about perfect, a warm night, a warm and loving crowd and a very upbeat and singing extravaganza!

If the Tea Party Express ever comes your way, GO!

Well the Healthscare Bill passed and it has not even been 1 month and the repercussions are all ready happening.

Within days of passage, several large companies reported that they have to record charges as a direct result of the Healthscare bill. Verizon Corp., is the latest to report that changes to income tax deductions will cause them to charge off $970 million dollars. This is after John Deere & Co. will record charge...

Certifiable? Or Alice in Wonderland

I am feeling like Alice, of Alice in Wonderland; things are not right with this Nation and our rulers have gone amok. Wait this is America we have no rulers, we are free, we have a constitution! Our Government cannot tell us what to do or what to buy, or what to eat. They can’t tell us what kind of light bulbs must be installed in our homes or how much water we can use or whether we can go fishing in our lakes, strea...

The Bill has been referred to Committee. Is this the plan that they will implement when Obama care fails?? Is this a back up plan? Why did LAMAR Co-Sponsor a Bill that REQUIRES you to purchase insurance? That states specifically : Sets forth penalties for failure to enroll? WE need to Flood his office with Calls - Letters - and Faxes.

Today was the opening day of CPAC2010. The Morning started with opening remarks by Marco Rubio, introduced by Jim DeMint! Marco Rubio is running for the Senate in Florida against Charlie Christ, and is the man to send to the Senate. He gave an inspiring speech about where he came from, who he is and where he is going! This Man gets it, he is a real conservative and understands what the Constitution is and what it...

These pictures are from my backdoor. This is our 5th Snow storm of the season. Very unusual for the South. Does anything about this picture conjure up warmth? It doesn't for me either. I have never fallen for the fact that man or anything other than the natual cycle of weather can cause global warming or cooling.

According to an article today in the Tulsa Today, Climate Gate may be caused by an absent minded professor....

JOBS

The U. S. Jobless rate came out yesterday (February 5, 2010) and the rate for January had fallen from 10.0 to 9.7 percent. BO was all over the news, talking about how wonderful it all is and how much better the economy was getting. He is either misinformed, or lying or just giving a single side of the story. The news was not as great as was espoused. Although the rate was down, the number of unemployed was actually...

It Is Census Time

Posted by Paula Tyler on Saturday, January 30, 2010 Under: Government Census

The Constitution calls for this count every 10 years in order to determine not only our population but to redistrict boundaries for the 438 electoral votes. This is supposed to give equal representation for the people. There is a question about the number of Representatives that are required by the Constitution per Section 2 article 3, are we entitled to 1 Representative for every 30,000 citize...

A Letter to Tennessee Representatives

June 27, 2010

Dear Tennessee Representatives,

I am writing you today to let you know that I DO NOT support the proposed tax on the Banks. It is amazing to me the schemes this administration cooks up. The charges for this tax will be passed on to the people of America who are already overtaxed. The bailouts should have never happened in the first place, and of course, the money needs to be paid back as a large portion has already been. I am sorry, but the president, the representatives, and senate ...

Advice to Congress

Posted by Paula Tyler on Sunday, January 10, 2010 Under: Political

I don't believe in starting the New Year with old baggage or things left undone.  I clean my house, I get rid of everything that is not needed, doesn’t fit, or has seen better days.  I check for any emotional baggage and either confront it or make sure it doesn’t follow me into the future.  I make sure anything that has been swept under the rug, is thrown out!  I don’t bother with making resolutio...
